Your batteries are not reaching 100% - especially if the readings you've given were taken a mere 12 hours after charging.

I agree. I think i'll try charging them two at a time with 12 volt charger and see if it may be my charger.

a fully charged 36v pack, after the rest period (12 hrs) will be 38.3v divide that by 6, you should be reading roughly 6.3 to 6.4 or so volts at EACH battery.
thankyou for straightening me out, I just double checked and and they are about 6.35 not 6.5 but either way maybe this should be updated-----> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...e-posting.html because it says this ----> "A 6 volt battery produces around 2.3 volts per cell. That is 7.2 volt for a fully charged, perfect battery. A 6 volt battery that reads 6 volts is considered to be a dead battery." and you might see where the thread telling the new guy to READ BEFORE POSTING might be slightly misleading but hey whatever I hope the op finds the speed he is looking for. I do like the chart Scottyb posted though it is very informative

Six volt batteries only have three cells. Your math is off.

not my math thats straight from the stickie. I don't think incorrect information should be stickied. seems counter productive to me 2.3*3 is 6.9 but it say 7.2 but the general consensus seems to be 6.4 so Idk seems kinda off putting to have inaccurate information floating around like this

I misread your post. I thought you were saying 2.3 * 3 = 7.2.

Either way, it seems wrong, though I haven't read it. 6.37 +/- is fully charged.

EDIT:
I see you used quotes, which I missed.

OK, I heard back from PQ and they say I "should" have gotten the Bandit rebuild. I still have the issue of not getting 100% charge but after another charge I got 38 pack volts so I wouldn't think that would really affect my to speed that much. I adjusted the ITS with no real change. Is there a way to test the ITS to see if it is operating properly?

Assume you have checked controller settings?

Is it an SPM? There is anecdotal evidence some of them don't get 100% throttle out of the box, though I have no proof.

Not an SPM, older Alltrax and I have not checked the settings because I was using this same controller on my other cart before changing to the SPM 48500 but I suppose something could have changed.

Still worth checking on jack-stands with a laptop to see if it goes to 100%. That will be a substitute for the ITS check you were asking about.
