I cut the white wire seen on the pic above, and put a ring terminal on it. The ring terminal replaces the red wire from the reed switch.
I find it interesting that the "slot" where the red wire goes is nearly perfect for running the wire forward to the reed switch OR going the other way. Rather than a straight line slot like the one for the reed switch white wire, there is a funnel shaped slot for the red wire. |

Thanks for the pic. I guess I need to disable mine before it croaks. I use the Powerwise QE charger for portability and place it on the cart floor near the plug. Pretty hard to drive off with it sitting there.

I put a toggle switch in the reed switch line, that makes it a safety switch and a way to disable the cart, nobody is going to drive off in it without the switch on!
