converting two carts to one
I have an old pc 954 and the speed controller blowed up. I had access to a 95 medalist. I took the motor, speed controller off of the 1995 and installed it on the 954, and made up new wiring harness for the control harness. the problem I am having is the solinod is clicking but it is not energizing the motor. Every thing worked when it was in the other cart. My question is will the potentiometer on the 954 work the speed controller, or does it need to be the round magnet that was on the 95 model.

No the pb6 potentiometer will not work on the stock 95 controller, it needs the ITS pedal box/the round magnet that was on the 95 model as you call it, every thing on the 95 need to be on the old 954 model

Re: converting two carts to one
Ezgo changed to ITS throttle in 1994.5, A different control that reads 0-5k would be the best bet for you now.
