Default accelerator response

I have a 2010 precedent 48 volt the accelerator does not respond until about half throttle any ideas? Thanks for all help.

Typically this is an MCOR (the throttle signal device)problem. Replace it.

thanks I jumped the 2 wire connector it seems better but still have to depress pedal alittle to far to start cart moving can hear click as soon as pedal is depressed.

The connector you bypassed has nothing to do with the throttle signal that is applied to the cart. Check the resistance between the yellow wire and the white/black wire on the 3 pin connector as you cycle the pedal to get your answer there. It should start at around 6800 ohms at zero throttle and 1100 ohms on the floor.
