Re: G9 seat covets
What kind of staple gun/staples did you use to attach the new cover? I bought marine vinyl to redo mine and the regular staple gun I had did not go through the plastic very well.

Re: G9 seat covets
What kind of staple gun did you use? The last ones that I tried to do was on an atv with a plastic base and I could not get the staples to go in far enough. Also I see you started on the corners. They look great.

The trick to do good job is to start in the corners and then do ling sides by pulling snug to take out the slack then finsh up with the short sides. I do a couple of them a week it gets easier the more you depending on.the thickness of the vinyl you may need to double the edge to keep the stapels from.pulling through

Re: G9 seat covets
Those look awesome!
I have never heard of doing the corners first either nut sure looks like you got it down pat. I wish I had a seat bottom that wasn't busted and missing the corner.I so need to redo the seats on my G9.Looks good |

Thanks by doing the corners first it elemnates puckers and rolls a friend in a upholstery shop tought me that trick when he was doing seats for some old roadsters as far as your corners being gone get some thick foam.from the craft store and cut it to fit i usualy will.cut mine a little bigger then take some out of the seat and use a spray glue so it sticks to the other foam and pkastic bottom then you can put a piece of tape over the seem and cover it
