After getting my head done and back on I decided to talk to Don Plowman about his performance kits. He is great to talk to and has worlds of knowledge about the yamaha's. I ordered his g14 performance kit which has his muffler, both new sheaves with the yellow spring per his advice, his own belt, and larger jets for carb. Cart really pulls hills great now for it only having a stock motor. I would suggest his products to anyone.

It does not run as fast as before but that was what I was looking for- more pulling hills without slipping . It runs fast enough for me with the governor being disconnected.

No I didn't pull the motor to do the head job. My compression was down because of the exhaust valve not seating right. I put valve stem seals on but did not stop all of my smoking. The oil ring must be worn cause the cylinder looked good and smooth. I am happy with what I have done so for tho.
