KF82 engine swap to FE290
I am in the process of swapping out the engine in a 91 Club Car. The KF 82 runs counterclockwise, the FE290 clockwise. Bought the engine on ebay. Lots of money in the cart, lift, tires, paint, etc. Do I sell the FE290 and rebuild the old KF82 or get a new rear end. Also need an airbox for the
FE290. Anybody got any ideas? |

Re: KF82 engine swap to FE290
Welcome classicpizzacart.... Do you deliver?
Sell the fe290 before you get more involved financially with it and find a V-twin they all turn CCW like your transaxle.... I have a '90 thats getting a little 13hp clone. They are cheap and more hp than stock ..... just a thought. |
