Default 36volt V-Glide Top Contact

Ive read a lot on the V-glide but the only thing that i cant verify(im assuming though) is how high on the top contact it should reach. Slides really well, but it only reaches about half way up on the last contact. Is this Normal or is an adjustment needed? im going to clean the contacts tonight, i was just curious if anyone has ran into this. Thank you all!

Default Re: 36volt V-Glide Top Contact

Adjust the throttle linkage so it covers the top pad, especially if your cart is a resistor cart with the big coils behind the batteries. When your adjusting its more important to cover the top than get all the way back down to the lowest one because the bottom few pads on the vglide dont connect to anything. Also verify the wiper is running flat over the pads as well and not at an angle.
