Thanks Husker! I didn't finish til midnight and the wife was not really happy it was so late, but she knows how much I love that cart. The headlights are supposed to be adjustable....but....best I can tell whoever meets me head on is gonna be really really blind and mad.

If you didn't wire it up yet here's an idea (Auto Zone 5 bucks) I drilled on through the angle iron body support next to the choke (hole is already there just needs to be a little larger and on through the body) Then wired it all from underneath through plastic casing and up into the engine compartment with the positive wired to under the plastic cover where the battery cable hooks in. With this 3 way fused switch I have head lights, tail lights and parking lights, also didn't have to mess around in the dash.

I had that same AZ light switch in my cart (for parking/riding lights) but, I had to replace it 3 times!

With the first one, I went to turn on the lights, and the knob and shaft came right out in my hand. (after 6 months)
The second one, just stopped clicking with no lights. (after 8 months)
The third one, had parking lights, but no head lights. (after 4 months)
I'm thinking it was a "you get what you pay for" thing!

I ended up just putting the stock on/off pull switch back in, it was more of a PIA replacing it then it was worth!

I guess I got lucky, no trouble with mine after 5 years, then I don't do much nite riding, mostly just to park it after dark.

i am right there with lock man......right now, i have to jiggle the switch to get both parking and running lights on at the same time..........thinking about looking into a marine switch of some kind, or i can just go ahead and buy 2 from auto-zone, and be ready for the next time.....

I really like the idea of parking/running lights, and wired my carts lights just for that!
I just haven't gotten around to looking for a better switch!

Mine is wired for first position = head lights/tail lights, second position = parking lights/tail lights.
