Best brand for custom build?
Hey guys, I was just curious what some of your opinions are on golf carts and which, if any are "better" to start with for a custom build? For example, maybe one has a heavier frame, or more aftermarket available, etc... I am kind of just looking for a deal right now, and was thinking I would convert to an ATV suspension. - Maybe there are better options? I am looking for something older, I don't want to sink a fortune into something I am going to have to cut up anyways. This might sound rediculous, and contradictory to my desire to find a deal, but I am going to use a FI harley 883 I've got laying around - so it will need some major restructuring!
Thanks in advance for the input! Awesome stuff on this site! |

Re: Best brand for custom build?
Ezgo, Yamaha, and club car are Very good carts.
Aftermarket parts are cheaper for ezgo. Yamaha's hold their value a little better. But you can't go wrong with the major three brands |
