Does it really have to be a special battery? I have a 92 2-stroke and I think it has (came with) just a regular 12V car battery that is the right dimensions to fit. I found one exactly like it at wall mart. Sorry if my ignoramus is showing.

26g (or group26) is only a reference to the battery size that fits in the mount in the cart, nothing really special about it
