Default hi I m Lynn

I m new to this please bear with me.I have a 1986 G3? Yamaha sunclassic electric cart that charges normally then when I turn key the batteries discharge,any ideas?

Possibly broken or damaged throttle linkage. I bet the resistor coils get really hot when the key is on. How long does it take to discharge?

Like in an hour, or within seconds. If its within seconds, you most likely have failing batteries.
