Default G2 Run time on batteries

What should run time be on my 36v G2. Have six new batteries (Duracell), new battery cables and new motor from D&D Motors. 4" lift with 20" tires. Only runs about 30 minutes on full charge. Any ideas on what could be the issue. Seems like it should run longer then that.

Is it still a resistor cart or have you converted it to a controller?

Resistor cart. Trying to avoid the cost of converting.

That is a low run time for sure, but, you might not improve it much without converting it to an Alltrax. With a resistor cart, a lot of your energy is burned out as heat. The slower you drive the more heat is burned off the coils, so essentially there’s no runtime benefit to driving slow. It’s basically the amperage draw of wide open all the time.

Was hoping not to have to go that route. Starting to get more money in this cart then it is probably worth. Was hoping someone would tell me it was just a bad connection somewhere.. LOL

What’s the pack voltage at full charge and when it seems dead? 30 minutes is short even for resistors.

About 38.2 is full charge after a 12 hour rest.
