Leave everything alone!

After rereading your original post, you said it cranks and starts in forward but dies out...

Try turning up the idle just a little bit.

I’d like to to crank to neutral and reverse also. Any ideas?

It should only crank over neutral.( I own a 272) Somehow you are out of sync with the limit switches and or one of the switches is wired normally closed that you can start it in forward. The circuit seems to work but not the way you want it. Check it with a meter to verify.

This is how mine is positioned in neutral. The switch is made and should only start here.
