The tensioner cable was not that expensive when I bought one from the dealer here? When I put this 16hp clone in, put it right on the stock mounts so we will see what happens with that. It has loads more power up to when it shifts out. I think all the tensioner does is take the engine torque under high loads like climbing hills and pulling things. Otherwise the engine pulls over to the trans and it messes up the shifting of the clutches. With mine I gps'ed it and tightened until it slowed at top speed, let it back out a little. Then when I stopped on a hill with two people and hammered it, it would slowly rev up (say 3-4 seconds) to higher rpm and go up the hill with about all the power it has. Before that it would barely move and engine would bog at low rpm, but it had 30gps top speed. Since most of the area is flat I didn't notice really, when I went trail riding and hit a hill I said what is wrong with this thing....or maybe I was trying to pull a boat out of the lake that is why I modded the clutches to start with.

post-paint pic, not the best tig welding, due in part to a 30yr old touch start tig, and my lack of experience. but i think its gonna hold.

motor plate goes in between the 1st and 2nd rubber blocks.

very cool and alot better than shelling out $100.00 + for a set of new motor mounts. I'll remember this when my mounts go. Thanks

Sounds good and I'm sure they'll hold up better than stock mounts. Keep us posted

Are those shock absorber rubbers? We used to lift trucks with hockey pucks, they were $1 each then and 1" each....made for a cheap body lift.
