Re: Yamaha Gas G2
WHOOPS! Not MY project - I just sent the link. I believe that is the work of todd108s . He deverves the credit for his work.
I've been thinking of something similar and it is a good illustration of what can be done. Love to see pics of your project as it goes and the results as well. If you would send me the measurements/details I would appreciate it. Are you going to try to add to the treadwidth? Wheelbase? I don't have a shop yet so I'll either have to borrow my brother-in-laws or work outside - either way I won't have much time to "experiment" so would like to just get in-and-out in an afternoon. |

Re: Yamaha Gas G2
This is what I did on my wifes G2. It's not to scale and the rear mount should actually be on the back frame mount but you get the Idea. It is about 4 1/4 inches but you can add your own numbers. Plenty of room for 22's
I have also built these for people who wanted a hitch on the front. |

Re: Yamaha Gas G2
Thanks! Exactly what I was hoping for. Now I can just make some "adjustments" to fit my needs rather than start from scratch.
Nice drawing, BTW. |
