Going to paint!
Is there and easy way to take off the body of an G22a? I have never attempted to di this. Also will I have a lot of rivets to replace? Thanks! I know some of you guys have done this a lot. It will be bright red or dark metallic blue and I will post pics of process.

This cart is easy to strip. The body is bolted on.

Re: Going to paint!
I'm assuming you start by taking off the top, but does the rubber strip on the front cowling aroung the edge come off easy or do you tape it off for paint? I am at work with little to do in my office today so I am brain storming.

If you look underneath the strip there are 10mm nuts every few inches. They have a nylon insert so you can not do them by hand when the front is off the rubber strip comes off. take off the front emblem and there are two screws under there. On the back remove the choke and shifter handle, 2 bolts on the side, 4 on the seat hinges, two in the bag well, and take the back cover off and the four on the backrest. |

Re: Going to paint!
Outstanding guys!!!!! thanks, I will be doing this in the morning. What about colors, do you guys have any preference? I know red is everywhere, but it is sharp and I really like the dark metalic blue too. I will be painting my 07' street ezgo the same color.

Re: Going to paint!
You will find it is easy to take the front and rear bodies off. Paint color? Your the only one that can pick that...you're going to be living with it
