I used the 2X4 method... Tap then rotate a bit then tap then rotate...etc... came off with no damage, worked well.

Steering wheel puller at Advanced- $18.00 and no longer "loan" them.

Well guys, made my own pulled and it bent up like a pretzel...TWICE! my next attept is the sledge hammer!!!! I'm at the end of my rope!

I started with the 2x4...tapping it all the way around, over and over and over!!! How do you reinforce a 6mm screw??? I can almost bend them with my hands! Sorry to vent, but this has gone on way to long...

i tapped the 2X4 then ended up with a 5lb hammer and hit moderately hard round and round then all the sudden i saw a bit of movement and then it popped off.

They where straight when I started...The pic was after I took it off. I ended up getting it to pop off with a 10lb sledge. What a PIA!
