Default Yamaha G9 Info

I have a chance to buy a 92 G9 gas cart. I test drove it and runs good. Needs to be cleaned up a bit and some tires( I have 4 from my cart now that I'm junk) I plan on using it around the house/camp,doing a lift and some rattle can paint
Can someone give me some thoughts on the G9...Good ,bad or ugly?

I think the G2/G9 are the best looking Yamaha, they are built like tanks and are very reliable.
If it was maintained and in good condition, you should get many years out of it. Mine is a '91 G9.

Just look on this site and you will see a lot of G9's and G2's. Very well built and durable. Mine is a 1992 G9, lifted with a Briggs opposed twin engine. Runs great!

Great carts for sure, IMO not the most attractive but other strengths more than make up for it. Dropping a clone 16hp into one right now.

Well I gave the G9 a good cleaning today and it looks great! searched the serial # and found that its a 1993( thought it was a 92), My first item to repair is align the front end put two tires on that I have from a ezgo that I'm going to junk. then a winshield and a roof.
