Default G9 belts Installation tips?

I'm going to be replaceing the 2 old belts on my Yamaha G9 with new ones. Does anyone have any tips or anything I should look for when replacing.

Tim, if you go to: yamahagolfcar.com, you can down load (pdf) the owners manual for your G9. It will help you with general maint.

Check the tension cable under the gen pulley they break. Check the inside of the clutches the alum sides wear and get rounded out, some wear from sand and actually wear through and get holes in them and cut the belt up. They hardly shift at that point. You should clean and lube the clutches if they are dirty. If not put one pump of grease in each once or twice a year. The new drive belt may be sticky and drag at idle for a little while.
