PLEASE HELP! heavy duty coil spring wont fit- G9
I just bought (edit) for my G(. After removing old spring new sping appears to big. I dont think it should be compressed before putting on. Does anyone know? Plus the kit comes with a bottom retainer that needs room meaning I would need to compress even more.

I read that and called before orderin and they said they would def fit. I think they are wrong. Now that they have some scratches from compressing im wondering if they will tack back. Can I just grind the bottom flange off and use the clamos they provide?

My problem was with the upper retainer. I don't think the clamps would be strong enough without the retainer flange. My feeling is, they told they'd work, if they don't, they should take them back...that's just good business.
