I will see if I have those parts today, but if it doesn't run correctly where you are now, your going to be disapointed anywhere you take it.

Recoil,
You are getting too much air. I bet it's the manifold that you bolt the carb to. It's probably cracked. Do one thing at a time until you find it. They are not very expensive to buy, but be very careful not to over tighten when you install it. The air box is probably a problem too. It's probably both. With the choke on, does it run wide open okay? If it runs with the choke on then it's not the carb.

update for ya all i fixed the air problem, runs great sept a few small things

i put a inline fuel filter but i think i put it on the wrong side of the pump (its between the pump and the carb atm is a pain to start) think im going to change it back to the original filter and see if this helps. Since its hard to start the battery seems to get drained i think this is in part the battery being to small so i plan on replacing it soon just need to find out what the proper size is lol

other then that my project is moving along rather well!

ill post a current pic of it tonight when i get back from the shop

I have a small filter off the carb of my G9 never had a problem. But if you have a leak it can lose prime and be hard to start. This filter is clear so I can see gas, I used to run it in the winter and it would freeze up, this way I can see if its getting gas. I never took out the original in the tank.

The dirt cheapest regular car battery with posts in the right spot are ideal for these carts. For the last 3yr I ran a battery out of a truck that got weak in the winter. Last fall it got bad on me would go dead if it sat for a while, but last weekend I jumped it and ran in the snow with it. After some running it would just turn over and start up but it was so weak. Was going to buy one and friend of mine says he put new in his truck and has one for me lol I have to go get it.

hmmm moved the filter and it seemed to help, ya mine is clear also

mine was the cheapest too i bought it to test the cart when i bought it because it dident have one and i wanted to check if it would run. Charged it while i did some other work for a few hours and it ran great but well see how it holds a charge next week, really hope it isent a problem with the starter/alternator =/.

Just put a meter on the battery for voltage. Put in neutral and run it, as you rev it more the voltage should go from 12.5 not running to over 14 at higher rpm as it charges. You can get a DMM at harbor freight for $5 on sale , or $10 at many places.
