1999 yama choking down
have a 99 yama that runs good at one speed. when running med to high then let off the accelerator.. push back down on the accerlator and car chokes down..
new filters - new plug carbur - cleaned. did find some trash. any ideas |

Could be some more trash in the bowl of the carb., fuel pump may be clogged with some grit also, or may have an air leak on air box, carb., or spacer.
You can clean these the fuel pumps. They are in three sections with a rubber diaphram. Over time grit will build up in them and somewhat clog them up. Just be sure to lay the fuel pump out in sections on a clean cloth or something as you take it apart so you'll be able to reassemble correctly. |

Need to clean the carb, take it off and clean it blow through all passages even if you blow them with can of carb cleaner. Make sure airbox is sealed.
