Default Re: Rear seat and heavy duty springs /coils for a G2?

Murf, I've never seen a set, but Smallblock says he put some on his G8. They were designed to be used on a G14 and up, but I believe members have put them on their G2's and G 9's.

Mike, someone on here had tried those springs on a g9 and said that they were impossible to gat on the g9 shocks. and I think the g2 and g9 rear shocks are the same.

Ok, I would call Jakes or Plowmans to find out my options. See if anything is available. Do not buy till the seat is on, to see if their even needed. Also Plowmans shims front springs, I don't know why he couldn't do it on rears as well.

I shimmed my front springs my self, and the outcome was very positive!

Cool thanks for the info! I just made a bunch of orders (rear seat, paint, tires/lift kit, etc) and am ready to take the cart apart once the stuff shows up.... will post pics and share once we get this thing all fixed up...
