Yamaha G16 Oil Change
I picked up a couple Yamaha G16s. The engines are siezed and are missing the oil dipsticks. I was planning to drain the oil and put some new in and then take a breaker bar to the cylinder with a mixture of marvel mystery oil and diesel in the cylinder. Always works like a charm. problem is, I dont have a dipstick for measuring the oil, so how much goes in these little engines? Can anyone give me a specific measurement of how much? Like X liters or something? I will measure it out and then pour the exact amount in the crank case and pop a cap on the oil fill tube. Thanks!

Re: Yamaha G16 Oil Change
I have two G16's, an 2000 and 2001, the oil capacity on them is 1 quart. If yours is that year I would start with a quart and try breaking it loose from there.
