New carb for G1
Just got my new carb in the mail and man was I stoked. Put it on and it is a bit different then the carb that came off of it. Its an 81 G1 and some of the hoses go in different spots. It will run off of some starting spray but thats about it. Never had a new carb before. Is there anything I should do to this thing right out of the box to make it run. Thanks for your help.

Re: New carb for G1
what carb did you get and what did you replace? usually you can just bolt them on and even if the jets arent in the ballpark it should still stumble around. make sure it is getting gas, loosten the bolf on the bottom and see if anything comes out. sometimes the floats get stuck. then check your air screw it shouldnt be more than 2 1/2 turns out.you said that the hoses dont go in the same spots? could we get some pics of that? (it sounds to me like its not getting any fuel) check your fuel pump also there is a sticky that gives you directions on how to do that.http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...fuel-pump.html
