FYI- some of the small air cooled engine manufactures are doubling the warrany if synthetic crank case oil is used.

For the KF82 engines use 10w-40 20w-40 or 20w-50. 10w-30 or SAE 30 are not recommended due to connecting rod clearances with the crankshaft. 30 weights are too thin of an oil. (according to my manual)

If you have the stock air box, it says the recommended oil weights right on the box.
