Default Need help with random cable

Can someone tell me what this cable is and where the other end should be connected? I installed a 6" lift today and afterwards the cart wouldn't run and I found this frayed cable. Assuming its the cause of my problem.

That's a ground cable!
Normally it's connected to the body/seat support on older carts!
My buddies 94 had that same cable, and we "extended" it when we lifted his... just in case!

Thanks, I had just figured out where it went. Didn't think to extend that when I was putting the lift on... I hope that's the only thing I didn't think of.

Agreed.

Drive your cart for a week, then bring it back to the garage and tighten EVERY nut/bolt in the suspension. You will be amazed how many loosen up after the stress of driving starts.

I replaced the torn ground cable with a new cable I picked up at AutoZone and all is well. I also need to replace the tie rod ends, they are looking rough. Other than that, all seems well.

Good call on tightening things up, I'll make sure to do that.
