Thats strange, do you think its a starter/solenoid issue. I'm going to clean up the contacts to see if it gets any better.

What lift do you have on your cart?

I am thinking it is the Brushes in the Starter/genterator or a switch... Let me know if you get it fixed.

I don't have mine lifted. Not my style... I like um lowered if i can.

I have a key start cart, just like on a car.
I had the same problem when I would try to start it, after several attempts, it would start. I replaced the solenoid and all is well.

Just did that today and all is good. Now time for clutch machining, spring upgrade and heavy duty belt.

I have a 93 DS that i had the same problem with the starting issue. Mine turned out to be my wore out starter belt. Each time i hit the pedal, the starter would turn, but the belt would slip. Hope you get it resolved. You found a very good forum here, i have had tons of help from these guys
