1985 Club Car Starting Issues
I have a 1985 Club Car that I am having issues with it starting. The cart will sit there and turn over and will not fire. The weird part is the cart, with my weight, will move backwards and forwards but does not run normal. Any thoughts on what the problem might be? It is cold in my area and the choke seems to be working from the little I know about these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1985 Club Car Starting Issues
Pull the spark plug and hold it against the motor to ground it with a pair of insulated pliers, then hit the gas. You should see the plug sparking and gear it clicking.
If the plug sparks, next try pouring a spoonful of gasoline right into the spark plug hole, put the plug back in, and then try starting it. |
