Default EZ-GO 350cc crankshaft question

I recently aquired an EZ-go workhorse with the 11 horse robin engine. I thought it had spun a rod bearing until I got it apart and found no bearing existed. I am pretty sure the crankshaft is toast. Is there any place to have them rebuilt? Any other options besides a new one?

The rods are aluminum so if you threw a rod or ran it out oil and stuck the rod to the crank the crank may still be good thats probably leftover rod on
it a little acid and fine emry clothe might fixer right up... post some pics so we can see it!!!

Hello Lococopper,

If the left over piece of the rod didn't touch the enginehousing it will go.
But as mine went broke, the crancshaft was bent!
Look for it or let it balance and build some bearings in the connectingrod.
A good engineshop can do this.(see my pics)

In the racecarts are aftermarketbearings in the rods almost standart and is the first to do when more revs are required.

@ Todd,

Its special programmed from PVL Germany.

On the cranck there is a modified groundplate (about 30 thegree cut out)
On that a impulse taker like (make the OK sign with your fingers without closing) (PVL 1055)
A digital 500 1 0000 99 coil, which gives his own spark a pulse and the same time apulse to the analog one 458 1 0000 03 (black)

Look on www.pvl.de
also in english
Mine looks like the one on"Go kart System", but with 2 coils.
See also my pics here and on karting-zone.de
On a testbench ours did 12000 revs!

This is the same on an aircooled as on my watercooled.
