![]() do i have to change anything other than add a battery to convert my old 36 v ezgo medalist to 42 volts does not have run coast switch. or could you point me to a thread about it thx jc

![]() I agree. If you are going to upgrade go to 48V. Same things required - better result.

![]() Just to clarify ...... for a series drive cart go from 36 to 48v for more torque and speed. On a DCS or PDS (both sepex) drive system go to 42v. Why? because 48v just seems too much essentially asking the motor for it's guts every time you accelerate and 42v is a nice compromise for this drive system. IMHO
