![]() On my 2002 CC D/S I can barely make 18 holes. Checked voltage on batteries after 18. All batteries have 8.2 to 8.4. Checked with hydrometer and one battery slightly lower than others. Checked with load tester. Same battery dropped slightly more than the others but only about one volt but still in good range. Had one bad battery and bought used battery from Battery store. Not sure it is actually a golf cart battery. May be marine battery with less amps. Works fine after charge. Wondering if it could be another problem. I have good connections and very heavy duty cables.

![]() One wrong or weak battery will cause your problems. All batteries should be same Amp Hour and voltage rating. Ideally same age and identical type.

![]() Get hold of a portable voltmeter and take it with you when you play.
Every 3 holes measure and record the volts on each battery. If one is bad it will show up eventually. Had same problem - its almost always a battery. |

![]() CC Fanatic- serial # AA0213 133086 , not IQ. Thought might be a problem with controller or motor brushes. Brushes have never been changed.

![]() 02 series cart. I'd just about lay money on a battery issue. Voltmeter those bad boys as a pack and individually, and the do the same under load. A bad one should jump out at you, or they all might be weak.

![]() I also think it is a battery. Batteries read 8.2 to 8.5 after playing 18 holes, but big loss of power at the end. I'm trying to get past holidays to replace all batteries. I'm replacing one tomorrow to see if that is the problem. Thanks for all the comments, they confirm my thoughts. Has anyone had motor brushes go bad? How long can they last?

![]() Depends on how hard the cart is used, but brushes can last a LOOOOOONG time on these carts, especially if they are left stock and ran normally around a golf course.
