Battery Pack Crazy idea

Just went fro 7-6 volts to 6-8 volts. Now have extra battery space. Considering the following, but need response to this 'wild scheme'

New 12 volt battery for low voltage system vs. 24-12 volt reducer now in place.

or connect this 12 volt bat at the end of my pack for more speed

I think solenoid is OK as I can keep coil voltage inline, but would diode and resistor need to change? Existing posts are already a beefy 1 3/8.

I can separately charge 48 volt and 12 volt. This would be a little busy at charging time, but can do.

Big questions - Motor, Controller and battery pack.

Would controller have to be rebuilt to 60/72 volt? Most likely?
What would I do to the battery pack?
