You forgot a 48V battery pack and Super-Duty solenoid.

Also, a reversing contactor is better than a HD F/R switch.

That's pretty much what it boils down to, either its a stock golf-mobile, or a "never quite done" frankenstein, with (possibly) a lot of cash in it.

Hauling 4 people long distances is putting a strain on all those remaining stock parts.Might as well pull the trigger now and get it all done the right way to start with.

Good luck! As the others said it may never end. I just switch to a 48v from a 36v TXT. Upgraded all the items they spoke of. Went from 12 mph to 18 mph.
Tomorrow I'm installing a new 2 speed motor. It dooesn't end

You'll need a minimum of:
A 48V battery pack
A 48V battery charger
A controller that will operate at 48V
A solenoid that will operate at 48V

You may also need to upgrade the 13 or 14 high current cables to 4Ga or thicker and replace the stock F/R switch with a Heavy-Duty one or a reversing contactor.
