Default EZGO battery tray

Have a EZGO DCS

Battery tray has some rust on it...not sure how bad or when to know the time has come to replace it .

Is the battery tray replacement a real big pain to replace? Wondering if it is worth it to just have someone do it.

Skip.....what year is your cart.....here is a link to the 94 up Battery Rack/Tray. Its a very easy install as it bolts in. I replaced mine....the hardest part for me was getting a couple of the rusted bolts out.

I have a 98 EZGO DCS cart.

I was looking at it and seems the hardest access is in the back of the battery tray. Looks like the cart body would make it hard to access.

Really don't want to take off the back body.

would it be harder with the body on....MOST CERTAINLY.....but its doable, but seeing as how the body is just pop riveted.....I would take it off and make the job a lot easier.....but then that's just me.
