I suggest this cart uses pkg 474. The 700 GE control with 400 solenoid. Anything less will be to invite trouble now and may not be capable when the motor is upgraded later on down the road to a hi-torque type best suited for this application. |

Thanks for the help on the micro switch. The arm on the micro switch with the roller had broken which is what was causing the solenoid to engage as soon as the key was turned on. Also, since the controller would not turn off because of this I suspect this is what make have caused its failure. Got the big GE FSIP contoller and 400 amp solenoid on the way from Scotty B so maybe all will be well after it is installed
