Need DPI Charger iformation
I bought a 2004 G22 and it came with an older DPI charger. Part # 48014-04. Does anyone have any link to the manual or any information on this charger? DPI has not responded to my emails and I cant find any information on this charger. The manual on their website does not include this particular charger.
Anyone? |

that charger is very likely a DPI charger made specifically for Yamaha Motor Corp. it is unusual for a Dpi, as it has a relay inside (to shut it fully off & meet cali power regulations), and no ammeter. it also has 3 different 48v modes & oddly a 36v mode. its only drawback is that since it is cali oem compliant, it has no float mode. BTW, i have one of those too, but the manual is long gone.

Motor Appliance Corp is not the same as Diversified Power Intl. Not gonna be the correct manual.

Hate to hijack, but I have the same charger and I fried the relay inside (corroded terminals = welding arc). Anyone know where you can find a replacement relay?

dpi part number "Kits008". and as far as i know, they are the cheapest place to get it.
