I've been using HVLP almost exclusively for the past five years, Only issue is that I have to set up a paint booth in my garage and that takes time and space. This was just a cowl, so I figured I'd give the rattle cans a shot. If it didn't work out, I could have sanded and sprayed after putting a booth together.

Thought of that too! Trouble is the paint doesn't flow out very well at 25f. Also nozzle on the gun will frost up, and won't spray worth s$%^.

I wouldn't dare spray anything under 50f.
Just asking for fish eyes and orange peel. |
