Well....Despite everyones opinion, I pulled the trigger on the 14's last night. I ordered the 14" machined Madjax Element wheels on 22/10/14 Timberwolf tires and a 3" Jakes Spindle Lift. I know I'm going to be happy with the look and I hope I'm happy with the ride. I'll start a build thread once I start. This forum has been a big help so far and I appreciate everyones input.

You might consider the Yamaha 2" lift kit. Maintains the original turning radius. Very well made. And your "planned" tires will fit as well. I have installed this on two carts. I wouldn't choose anything else. I also agree with the 12" wheels stated above because of the extra sidewall flex gives a better ride. OOPs. I just realized you placed your order fot the lift kit.

I envy you G29 owners that can get 22" tires to fit with a 3" lift. My G22 with Jake's 3" lift rubs so I'll have to do some work to get them to fit. My kids drive this cart so I want to keep the lift to a minimum.

I have 14" wheels with 23" tires and I love it. My neighbor has 12" w/ 23s on his yamaha w/ 6" jakes spindle lift. Mine is long travel jakes. My cart rides just as good if not better than his. My front end takes bumps like they aren't there. The rear is a little bouncy, but I added the heavy springs. His rear is super spongey with the stock springs, and he always rubs. I also like the look of the shorter sidewalls. Everyone has different taste on the looks, but I don't think you'll notice much difference in ride, between the 2 sizes. Here's a pic of my Frankenstein. Hope this helps.

Here's a good comparison to stock.

This is an awesome pic!

Anyway, the place I ordered my rims and tires said they are on back order and wont ship for 3 weeks. I picked up my cart today so I guess I'm rolling stock until after V-Day.

That configuration with big tires in front & little in back will do wicked donuts in gravel (LOL, fun times) .. Jake's LT rides the best I have seen for off road.
