'91 EZ-Go Marathon TXT Electric battery help
Ok I'm new here sorta. I have been looking for this info and looked at the stickys posted by roady89 and ruredy till I'm blue in the face.
So here I go head first,lol. I have a '91 EZGo Marathon TXT electric. Does anyone have the "Ezgo electric golf cart wiring" specificaly for the '91 I have? Theres just something little I missed when putting in the new batteries I'm sure of it. What I have looks like the first pic shown here http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-manuals.html BUT- I have the second pics ignition and charger plug thing. Both the 1st and 2nd pic have something or another in the middle . I have nothing there. Never did. So I'm guessing this is a '91 thing? |

Does your cart have the little coils (near the rear) like in the second pic?
If not Can you post a pic of yours? it may have been changed to use a controller. |

yes the coils are under a housing , but yes.

If it has the resistor coils, then the speed control board and solenoid should be just forward of them in the center of the cart..

Kinda hard to see what's in the center of the battery bay in these pics.. That almost looks like a controller cover towards the rear.. Post the serial # and the mfg.# off of the metal tag under the passenger side of the dash.. That will make it easier to identify your cart..
