![]() I changed over from an oil injection to a premix on my '92 2-stroke. But, I have no idea what this line does, or if the two ends were connected, and if so, by what.
I apologize, but this project sat for awhile, and I don't recall leaving two open-ended hoses that weren't there already. Obviously, the free line and the other line running to the fuel filter are both coming from the fuel pump to the left. I haven't dug into the fuel pump as it was running fine before changing to a pre-mix. Any help, (sccowboy) greatly appreciated! Thanks |

![]() The line with the filter is obviously the fuel line. the other could be the line for the old oil feed.

![]() looks like someone replaced the fuel line and didn't remove the old one.

![]() Fuel pump pulse line that goes to the back of the engine to the pump. Should be a single, one pcs. hose though!, not cut. But you need the pulse line to make the pump work to pump fuel to the carb.

![]() Pulse Line?
the line that is "cut" runs out of the fuel pump. The other end is down towards the bottom of the engine under the drive clutch. I cannot remember ever touching that line when I took out the oil pump/reservoir. ???? |

![]() Your fuel pump should have 3 ports, 1 for fuel to come from the fuel tank, 1 for fuel out to the carb and 1 that needs to be connected to the engine crankcase. Look on the back of the engine below the intake and see if there is an open fitting. That is the pulse line hookup to operate the pump!! Ezgo built very few carts that I know of with a clutch driven type fuel pump.

![]() Thanks Classycarts. That is exactly what it is. The other end of the bottom hose in the picture is attached to the crankcase. Thanks again.

![]() Plan on replacing all of the fuel system hoses. they are cracked and pretty brittle. Likely the culprit in the demise of the hose in the pic.
Thanks again all! |
