Keep checking E-Bay, or start calling the sled parts dealers, they may have NOS on the shelves. I called MArshalls for grins, they were out of that size, but are hoping Comet will re-open under new ownwership soon......

Tony, I have been trying to locate those pucks since Oct '09, maybe you will have better luck than I did. I spoke with Certified Parts Corporation this week, and its not looking good for production to start anytime soon and if it does it will be the smaller clutches first. They have all the stuff but do not know what they are looking at there is a huge learning curve ahead of them.

Did you see what color spring you had in it?

Tony, I just put in the pucks I drilled out last week, 3 approx 16g (drilled 1"), 3 18g (drilled 7/8") and 3 20g stock, It pulls hard, engages around 3K and pulls to just under 6K before I run out of driveway and have a turn I can't make at speed. Try running three of the pucks you have (they look like the 1" or 59g) and see what your engine does first, with 9 light pucks it takes longer to engage than with the same weight as three heavy pucks, but it will at least show you how the engine can pull.

tikicart i guess i can weigh the pucks right, do you think they are 56g, that means 9 of them at 56g that is 504g total right?

I am just guessing buy the pic you posted and the ones I cut apart/destroyed when they say actually are the 7/8=7/8" insert or the 53.5g that comes stock in the aftermarket G1 clutch, the black spring is throwing me off from what I have seen it should be silver 1 5/16OD. Comets weights are all over the board my friend had 6 47g, and 3 25g in his EZGO. The steel inserts have a molded lip inside the middle of the puck, I'll try to get some good pics so you can see what you up against if you decide to drill them out.
