Default how to remove the spider assembly on a g-16 clutch?

I have a g-16 and I got the long bolt out of the drive clutch but getting the spider assembly has got me scratching my head. Do I need to pull the whole clutch off using a tapered bolt and then remove the spider or can I remove it while its on the cart with out buying a tapered special removal bolt?

Hey saw your pm and am having trouble replying.

You can spin the spider off with a polaris sled spider socket if you have room in front of the clutch for an impact and 4 inches for the socket. The sled spiders are bigger but you can do it by holding the socket centered. A sled shop may rent you the tool.
GOOD LUCK
