No I would not use that crap in my weedeater let alone golf cart. Amsoil is a pyramid selling joke. Does make me money in broken cars due to using it, got tons of pictures of its short comings. Don't by into the hype, it's crap oil that pretends to be good. Use the OEM oil that it was designed for.

Re: Amsoil in 244 pg
Well, with the engine being Japanese a true pedant would suggest that any JASO oil would be best, further reading here http://www.jalos.or.jp/onfile/jaso_e-1.htm
But the truth of the matter is that you can just pick up a brand name oil from your favorite Auto store or even Walmart. The little PG series is going to be more concerned with the ratio than the brand. The manual states (and I have used for a year with no issues) 128:1 which is 1 ounce oil to 1 gallon gas. Please remember that you should not just pour oil into the gas tank. You should add the oil to a gas container and shake vigorously to mix the solution, then pour into the tank.
