Default How to Eliminate Governor on 1989 3PG

Does anyone have the details about eliminating the governor completely on a 3PG. I just spruced up the differential from a failed imput shaft bearing failure, and the governor assembly was pretty much bent up. I heated it up and reshaped it so it at least fit the shaft and aligned with the hole in the bushing, but I'm sure it is very different than it is supposed to be. Anyway, back together and it runs. Now I'm second guessing myself and wonder if I should take it out. I eliminated the oil pump while I had the cart apart.
