How do I wire start and run with a key instead of pedal start/stop

Greetings,
I just purchased a 2009 Gas Club Car Precedent and would like to wire it to start and run with a key switch instead of using the gas pedal switch. Any assistance on this modification would be appreciated.

There is a thread in clone engine swap called "wiring ignition to turn off engine". It worked for me very well. Not sure if the precedent is the same though.

Lift up the rubber floor mat. Lift up the plate that covers the wiring in front of the gas pedal. There are 5 wires running from the 2 microswitches inside the pedal assy. Clip the black/white wire. Tape off the ends. Turn up the idle screw on the carb a touch. Everything works flawless. Turn on key and step on gas to move. Turn off key to shut off.

Put your cart in maintenance mode, chock the wheels... and the key off!

In the engine compartment, There is a black plastic box, just below the drivers seat!

Remove the one hex screw, and then the cover for the box,
You'll see the voltage regulator, two micro switches, a single 10 amp fuse, and a bunch of wires!

Go to the micro switches... wipe the dirt off of the micro switch wires (without disconnecting them)

There should be only one solid black wire...
(I think it's on the bottom micro switch)

Disconnect the solid black wire ONLY! (pedal kill circuit)
and set the wire off to the side, (inside the box) and reinstall the cover!

You are now ready to adjust your idle!

Again... with the cart in maintenance mode, and the wheels chocked,
Turn the key on, push the "GO" pedal to start it...
and adjust your idle up just high enough so the drive belt is just about ready to turn
(if the drive belt turns too much, the cart will "creep" while idling!)

Turn the key off to shut it down, set the brake,
take the cart out of maintenance mode, and remove the wheel chocks.

Test drive (start and stop) to make sure it won't stall or creep... and adjust if needed!

Your cart will now start with the pedal... idle... and shut off with the key!
