Default G-14 King Pins

What's the story on the Yamaha king pins? Client has a G-14 or such and it eats front tires in 6 months. You can feel play in the pins when you push n pull the tire sideways. What parts replace in conjunction with the pins? What about spindles?

The bushings originally are plastic and wear away most new ones are metal. If they have been worn long it can wear the king pin and the control arm holes. The spindles should be OK just remove both roll pins and remove the king pin.
Good Luck

Where is the tread wear? The king pins and bushing would have to be soooo worn out that you would have to replace the entire front end. Ive had some bad bushings before, but never to the point it worn out tires in 6 months. Something else is up.

I'd look for something bent! If it's the extreme inside or outside, check the camber against factory settings. Definitely check the toe-in against same settings. Check to see if steering wheel is still "centered". If it isn't, that's a good sign that something is bent. Good Luck !!!!
