Re: 2005 Ez Go Txt Axle
Guys, Think I found the problem...No differential oil. Where is the fill plug? If it if the black rubber piece, how do you get it out. Thanks for your help.

Re: 2005 Ez Go Txt Axle
you have to drop the pan, clean the surface on the diff/pan, fill with oil up to the fill/drain hole, and re atach using an rtv sealer.

Re: 2005 Ez Go Txt Axle
You can do the bearing/brushes yourself, or are the windings coming apart, and that would be hard to believe on an 05

Re: 2005 Ez Go Txt Axle
That may be over my head. Bearings/brushes. Do you have instructions on replacing them? Where is the best place to get the bearings and brushes?

Re: 2005 Ez Go Txt Axle
That site sponser page up top, there are a few places that sell the brush set and the motor bearing, really not to hard, especially those motors, little dirty but not to bad, pull the end cap off, seperate housing from the armature, replace the brushes, the brushes are hooked up in pairs, so do 1 pair at a time, so you know how the wires go, you wil probably have to take the armature to a shop and have the bearing pulled off and then pressed back on, clean up everything with air outside(wear a mask) and when putting the end cap back onto to the armature, pull all the brushes/spring back and to the side so the brushes are held away, and then when you get the armature conneced just release the springs an wala, any ?'s just ask
