Time is money. It's hot as hell in florida. You can pour water in a cup if you like. i top mine off every other week and it takes me 1-2 mins. I bought the cart to enjoy. I dont have a lot of free time. If you want to take each cap off and worry about over filling and spilling water, that's great. I prefer to spend what majority of the free time I have using my cart rather than maintaining it. I figure for the next 6-7 years that $200 was money well spent and I bet my batteries last longer than yours because they are always properly watered. That's just my opinion.

Do the batteries have to be level with each other for this system to work properly?

I am working on a custom project that will stacked batteries.

Thanks,

I think you better call Flow-Rite. I imagine they have to be on same level, but not sure.

they can be off level, they have a one way valve in each top. I have to second the motion---it is well worth the money!!! So easy to do, saves time and is hassle free which means batteries are never low on water (due to the hassle) it also means zero acid spilled around the batteries, therefore no corrosion.

So to sum it up $170 spent now saves battery life and $ ---zero corrosion means no cart damage. They pay for themselves in short order!!!

I just installed one the other day and must say it is well worth the money because it was so fast and easy to fill the batts...It may not be for everyone because some guys like to turn wrenches for relaxation...Flow-Rite:fast, easy and best of all, no acid spills

Just curious... what brand of battery do they put in the Zone carts from the factory?
I didn't see any name on those in the pics above.

I've got the flow-rite system. Easy to install and plenty of space to do it if that's a concern. The one thing that sucks is that they ship you the parts unassembled and they give you some diagrams, but none of them are for the Zone, so it took me a while to figure out the exact configuration. Now my only problem is that the water level never seems to move. It's been about 3 months of moderate use (about 5 miles per week) and I check it every time I use it but don't see any movement. Anybody have this experience too? Or am i just being impatient?
